Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a valid driver's license
Pass DOT physical exam and drug screening test
For CDL with manual transmission you must know (or learn) how to drive a car with manual transmission (stick shift)
Criminal Record
No felonies in the last 10 years
No misdemeanors in the last 3 years
Not currently on parole or probation
Driving Record
No alcohol or drug related violations DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
No more than 1 serious moving violation in last 3 years
No more than one at-fault accident in the past year
